Miami FL, February 5, 2024 – Quality Health Management Secures Buyback of Business Assets from Global Benefits Group, Effective February 2, 2024-Deal Financing Provided by Blue Sky Health Services.
Quality Health Management, LLC (“QHM”), a Miami FL based managed care organization (“MCO”) providing third-party administration and provider network services to the international health insurance market, is pleased to announce their buyback of 100% of QHM business assets from Global Benefits Group, Inc. (“GBG”), effective February 2, 2024. Originally established in 2000, QHM was acquired by GBG in 2017 and has enjoyed positive client acquisition and revenue growth during this timeframe. “We are very pleased to have reacquired the assets of QHM and look forward to continuing to serve our many clients in a manner consistent with our high standards for claims service,” stated Barbara Sanchez, Principal & Co-Founder, who added: “We are appreciative of the enduring relationships we developed with GBG executives over the past seven years and thank them for their support and attention during this process.” Patricia Ziomek, Principal & Co-Founder, added: “Obtaining complete control of our provider network contracts, affiliated vendor relationships, and employee management functions will improve an already robust product and service offering to our customers, and we look forward to immediately engaging both current and potential clients in this new environment.” Terms of the QHM buyback were not disclosed, but financing for the transaction was provided by Blue Sky Health Services, LLC (“Blue Sky”), a managed care investment, consulting, and brokerage firm based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL “Our investment portfolio of MCO’s has generally targeted early-stage start-up companies, but our historical familiarity with QHM provided Blue Sky with a high level of confidence in this investment,” stated Bob Ziomek, Principal, who added: “QHM’s strong balance sheet, current growth profile and positive brand recognition in the international marketplace all bode well for continued QHM business success.”
